Contingency language for written offer letter to external finalist

The following language should be included in the contingent written offer to the finalist to a tenured faculty position to indicate that the contingent written offer will become a final written offer if/when the conduct inquiry process concludes satisfactorily.

This offer of employment is contingent on the completion of a satisfactory conduct inquiry check, which includes questions regarding formal complaint investigations and substantiated findings/determinations related to harassment or discrimination, retaliation, sexual misconduct, bullying or intimidating/abusive behavior, unprofessional relationship, or misconduct related to scholarship, research, teaching, service, or clinical/patient care.
