University-wide New Ladder Faculty Institute

This event is designed to give new ladder faculty an opportunity to meet new faculty from all across Harvard and to introduce them to the numerous resources available to them throughout the University.

During the first session of the event, we will talk about how to approach scholarly work and effectively contribute to your department, the University, and your field(s). The second session will explore how active learning opportunities for students in our classrooms will become increasingly important in a world where students and instructors have access to sophisticated artificial intelligence tools. We'll discuss classic and emerging techniques and tools that will enliven any class.
