Anna Wilson got her PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto in 2015. She wrote her dissertation on fanfiction and medieval literature. She is now revising that project into her first book. She works on reading communities, reception, affect, queer theory, historiography, time, ideas of childishness or immaturity, and the medieval imagination. Her next project is on medieval travel and memory. She is also interested in letters and epistolarity, monsters, and gender and sexuality. She has published in Transformative Works and Cultures and Exemplaria, and has written about her work for Aeon online magazine.
