DESCRIPTION:<p><span><strong>Save the Date!</strong></span></p><p><span>The <strong>2026&nbsp;</strong></span><a href="https://hilt.harvard.edu/"><span><strong>Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT)</strong></span></a><span><strong>&nbsp;Conference</strong>&nbsp;will be held at the David Rubenstein Treehouse<strong>&nbsp;</strong>in Allston, MA on<strong>&nbsp;Friday, September 25, 2026</strong>. The annual conference convenes faculty, staff, students, and other Harvard affiliates to explore how we can make teaching and learning at Harvard more engaging, rigorous, and relevant.</span></p><p><span><strong>We’re trying something new — Call for Proposals (CFP) due June 12</strong></span></p><p><span>Our hope is for the 2026 HILT Conference to carry forward the&nbsp;</span><a href="https://hilt.harvard.edu/event/2025-hilt-conference?occ_id=0"><span>momentum of last year’s approach</span></a><span>, which explored a wide range of timely topics in higher education, rather than focusing on a narrow theme. We want to surface and showcase a variety of approaches and hear from a wide range of voices. <strong>We need your input and expertise to help us design a compelling program</strong>.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>We invite <strong>Harvard‑affiliates</strong>&nbsp;to </span><a href="https://qualtrics-auth.tlt.harvard.edu/a/bb21074a-6113-441e-ae3d-c3b47e22d688"><span>submit proposals</span></a><span>&nbsp;that include:</span></p><ul><li><span>New or experimental pedagogical approaches</span></li><li><span>Creative uses of technology in support of learning</span></li><li><span>Strategies for addressing current challenges in higher education</span></li><li><span>Approaches that can generalize across disciplines and contexts</span></li><li><span>Cross‑School and cross‑role collaborations</span></li><li><span>Suggestions for compelling plenary speakers</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>The <strong>Call for Proposals (CFP) survey opens Monday, May 4, 2026</strong>,<strong>&nbsp;</strong>and the <strong>submission deadline is Friday, June 12, 2026</strong>.
