# Request for Proposals: Impact Lab Start-Up Funding February 03, 2026 Harvard Impact Labs has [released a new RFP](https://impactlabs.harvard.edu/call-applications-impact-labs?utm_source=faculty_research&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2026_rfp) for Harvard faculty members to apply for Impact Lab Start-Up funding. ## About Harvard Impact Labs - It is a University-wide initiative launched last year to empower Harvard faculty to work with practitioners and communities to develop, test, and scale solutions to some of the world’s most pressing social problems. - [Meet the newly funded impact labs](https://www.hks.harvard.edu/announcements/harvard-impact-labs-awards-14-million-launch-four-new-research-projects-designed) involving faculty from four different Harvard schools. ## Impact Lab Start-Up Funding - At least two awards of up to $500,000 over two years will be provided to launch rigorous new research aimed at tackling an urgent social problem in collaboration with government, nonprofit, or for-profit entities.
