Tenure-Track Faculty Lunch, 12:00-1:00 pm
Smith Campus Center, Room 869

Join Senior Vice Provost Judith Singer for an informal lunch with other tenure-track faculty colleagues. These lunches, hosted throughout the academic year, are an opportunity to have an informal discussion and connect with faculty from across the University.

Tour of Historic Harvard Yard, 1:00-2:00 pm (optional)

University Marshal Margot Gill will meet the group at the Smith Campus Center at 1 pm and lead a tour of historic Harvard Yard, highlighting points along the way that would be especially of interest to new Harvard faculty. Time permitting, the tour will end with a stop inside Wadsworth House, the second-oldest building on campus which briefly served as General George Washington’s headquarters in 1775. The Office of the University Marshal serves as the chief protocol office for the university, and in this role hosts hundreds of visitors from around the world each year.
