**Tenure-Track Faculty Lunch, 12:00-1:00 pm**  
Smith Campus Center, Room 869

 Join Senior Vice Provost Judith Singer for an informal lunch with other tenure-track faculty colleagues. These lunches, hosted throughout the academic year, are an opportunity to have an informal discussion and connect with faculty from across the University.

 **Tour of Historic Harvard Yard, 1:00-2:00 pm (optional)**

 University Marshal Margot Gill will meet the group at the Smith Campus Center at 1 pm and lead a tour of historic Harvard Yard, highlighting points along the way that would be especially of interest to new Harvard faculty. Time permitting, the tour will end with a stop inside Wadsworth House, the second-oldest building on campus which briefly served as General George Washington’s headquarters in 1775. The [Office of the University Marshal](https://marshal.harvard.edu/) serves as the chief protocol office for the university, and in this role hosts hundreds of visitors from around the world each year.
