Study Centers

In academic year 2006, Harvard College piloted undergraduate study centers in 5 courses to provide supportive learning environments for undergraduates in introductory math and science courses. The following courses integrated study centers into their course curricula: Chemistry 7, Life Sciences 1a and 1b, and Statistics 100 and 102. These new study centers were staffed by students who recently excelled in these courses and who also have strong communication and social skills.

In Spring 2007, undergraduate study centers were offered in Life Sciences 1b and Physical Sciences 1. Larger-scale study centers are also offered for Math (visit the Math Question Center) and Physics (see the schedule for Physics Night in Leverett House).
